My grandparents met in the 1930s. She was a telephonist and he was a telephone engineer.. they fell in love and married before he left for the army. I think it was 1943 they got married. She waited for him and when he finally returned home they had my Muma and her sister. I don’t remember much of my grandma when she was totally herself… she began to get dementia and this slowly ate...
